Shire Horse Society Working Festival 2017
England’s oldest cart horse will be on display at the Osberton Horse trials providing a contrast to the event which showcases the Sport Horses of the future.
Established in 1878, the Shire Horse Society will be staging its first working horse festival displaying the talents of the breed which put the Great into Britain. Ploughing competitions, implement displays and competitive turnout classes will all take place over the weekend of 30 September to 1st October.
The event is expected to attract in excess of 50 of the UK’s best working Shire Horses, some of which are still in daily use by Breweries up and down the Country.
