Osberton International Horse Trials attracts loyal visitors each year who come along to enjoy the extensive shopping opportunities, many and varied competitions and wide variety of attractions for all the family within the delightful surroundings of the Osberton Estate.
We would like to make your visit to The KBIS British Eventing Young Horse Championships at Osberton a memorable and happy occasion and offer the following tips and information to help…
Eating and Drinking
There is a wide variety of food and drink on offer across the event site. In addition to our very popular food court, we also have the the Bistro open in the evenings which is available to book when you arrive on site, as well as a bar, aptly named ‘The Triple Bar’ offering tea, coffee and bar snacks along with a fully stocked bar and a special gin/fizz offering.
Our preferred accommodation partner is Ye Olde Bell Hotel & Spa, just minutes away at Barnby Moor. AA 4-Star passionately restored by private owners to respect its 17th Century history yet bring it firmly into the 21st Century with contemporary style and luxury. Strong connections with the horse world throughout including the lively St Leger Bistro and Bar plus a stunning AA Rosette Restaurant. A range of stylish rooms and suites plus the Grove & Rufford Lodges and a brand new luxury Spa which opened earlier this year. Visit www.yeoldebell-hotel.co.uk or call 01777 705121 to book.
We ask that spectators with mobility issues bear in mind that the event site has no permanent facilities or paved roads. The event takes place on park ground and terrain is uneven in some places. We are currently unable to provide mobility scooters or similar.
We provide forward parking on production of a valid Blue Badge and also provide accessible toilet facilities. We try our best to accommodate all spectators and to cater for any reasonable request. If you have any particular requirements or questions, please call the office on 01949829061 or email email@example.com
If you have lost any item during the event please go to the Event Office. After the event please call 01929 829061 to check for lost property. We retain lost property for two months.
If you find an item which doesn’t belong to you or anyone around you, please take it to the Organiser’s Office. The team will make their best effort to reunite it with the owner.
There is plenty for children to see and do at this year’s Osberton Horse Trials including a family dog show, the fast and furious pony club games, a hound display and much more…
Advance tickets for Children aged 5-14yrs are available from as little as £4 from our Box Office. These tickets will be scanned in the same way that adult tickets are. Children 4 years of age and under can enter the event for free when accompanied by an adult.
We encourage you to bring your four-legged friends to Osberton with both ‘have a go’ dog agility and a family dog show running over the weekend.
Please ensure that dogs are kept on a short lead and under control at all times. Not only is it incredibly dangerous if your dog gets loose but it is also irresponsible. Any owners with dogs found to be off the lead will incur a penalty fine (donated to our chosen charity) and you may be asked to leave the site. Please ensure you clean up after your dogs, bags are available for free from the organisers office.
If you haven’t yet experienced our Live Scoring system it has revolutionised the distribution of scores at Events. The Live Scoring system works alongside the Official Scorer to provide real-time scores to on-site electronic scoreboards and via the web for anyone at the event or unable to attend on the day (e.g. Owners, parents, partners or staff back at the yard.)
Remember you can also follow the cross country for all sections as it happens. Select “Live XC” from the section list.
For more information on Live Scoring please see http://eventscore.co.uk/
